Our Story
Our journey to owning and operating The Victorian Inn began with a shared passion for hospitality and a deep love for the history and beauty of Marblehead, Ohio. As avid travelers ourselves, we've always appreciated the warmth and personal touch that a bed and breakfast offers. When we discovered this beautifully restored Victorian farmhouse, we knew it was the perfect place to create our dream inn.
Jeff brings over 30 years as an executive IT professional and an advanced background in construction, and keeps everything running, from the grounds to the modern amenities. Shelley brings 30 years as a real estate agent and a keen eye for design: she curated each room to reflect the elegance of a bygone era, and her passion for cooking shines through in the breakfasts we serve each morning.

Perfect location for exploring the Lake Erie islands! Our room was very clean and the hosts were very communicative over email. Appreciated all of the local recommendations! Highly recommend and we will be back!
Shelley and Jeff are meant to own a B&B. They are such warm, friendly and eager to please people. After just 2 days it felt like we knew them a long time. The Inn is super clean and charming.
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful stay! We are traveling with a puppy and not only were the hosts dog friendly, they had a dog mat with toys in the room for our pup to enjoy his stay.
Every aspect of this B&B is great. The decor throughout is so charming. The room and dining area and kitchen were spotless. Everything looks like it was just totally refurbished yesterday. And it was peaceful, private and with a very scenic back porch and back yard.
My husband and I enjoyed our brief stay at this friendly B&B. All areas were inviting and well appointed. We were greeted with a smile and felt welcome right away. Enjoyed playing cards on the deck before heading to a comfortable bed.
